Billion Dollar Babes

So almost our entire BH team made it to the sale!!! It was fabulous! I totally scored in the jewelry section. I had the pleasure of meeting designer Mabel Chong(https://mabelchong.com/home.cfm) and purchased an AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS delicate triple chain gold necklace with colorful precious gemstones!! I LOVE IT!

I also met the lovely Lirany Vasquez of Pretty Little Thing NYC(pltnyc.com) and picked up an adorable handcuff love necklace and a flattering pair of filigree and suede woven earrings! You can check both of those items out on her site!

It has only been about two weeks since the sale and I have worn all three items like crazy, and of course have gotten many compliments!!!

Re: SF IS GORGEOUS AND GREEN!!!!

Why wouldnt you " Go Green" ...everyones doing it! My efforts to go green include using Shaklee eco-friendly cleaning products (Yes, as seen on Oprah's favorite things show) , purchasing organic baby clothing ( especially from Sage Baby) for that cute nephew of mine, sending "Evites" via the web and or "Earmark" 100% recycled paper invites!! ( Super cute, I might add!!) GOT GREEN?

Re: SF IS GORGEOUS AND GREEN!!!!

I was excited to see all of the beautiful sustainable fabrics and fashions at Global Green. But my green efforts include: switching to a nalgene bottle for water, moving all of our household lights to halogen and doing most of my laundry on "cold".
I really want a Hybrid car but I heard it's better to drive your car into the ground and THEN buy a Hybrid rather than turn in a good car now.....

Re: SF IS GORGEOUS AND GREEN!!!!

I do think that it is way awesome that more and more designers are making their clothing more "green". Edun is another great brand that only uses enviromentaly friendly ways of manafacturing their clothing. It is also made of all organic cotton. For what I do to conserve: I have my recyle bin, that is usually more full than my trash cause I recyle everything (paper, napkins, plasitc bottles, plastic wrapping and containers, milk cartons, cans, magazines, etc.)Take shorter showers, and turn off the water while you brush your teeth :)

SF IS GORGEOUS AND GREEN!!!!

Carla and I went to global green last night. It was the third annual event of its kind. There was an amazing fashion show showcasing top designers who have combined high style with sustainability. There were some fabulous designers that participated in the fashion show, to name specifically Bahar and Kelly B. It is amazing how much the fashion industry can help to make this a greener world. We had some great conversations with celebrities and socialites and the one thing everyone said is CONSUME LESS! YOU TOO can make a difference! What are you doing today to be gorgeous and green???
