Hi There, I would buy some cool grey tights to wear with this outfit. You might want to wear a bright white or mother of pearl necklace on top of your sweater to balance out the white skirt. Have fun, wherever you are going! Carla

I am sure you will be fine! Is the snake skin shoe strappy? Be sure you have some chunky jewelry to accentuate the turtleneck. And of course lets not forget the handbag! Remember your handbag does NOT have to match your shoes!!!

Hmmmm, first of all, it shows you have taste by even asking this question. What kind of fabric are the skirt and turtleneck made of? If both are pretty much the same weight, then I would go for it (although the-dated, albeit-rule is no white after labor day). The other responses have great ideas about jewelry, etc. Just don't wear a light summery cotton skirt with a sweatery turtleneck. Have fun!

If you have already questioned wearing white in October, then don't bother asking and follow your gut. Personally, I think a white skirt is more appropriate for the spring season, but if you choose to wear one in October, then I agree with Carla on wearing tights underneath. Dressing it up with other fall pieces will make it appear less obvious that the skirt should be worn in the sun. If you worry too much about it, just opt to wearing black or brown.

I thnk Fashion rules are silly! It's called Winter White, LOL. AS MArla says if you're already questioning it perhaps you should consider if you really want to wear it. However everyone is exactly right. Most pieces can look season appropriate when paired with the right accessories.
